Deadly Fighting Breaks Out In Chechnya

Five Russian security personnel were killed and six others injured Thursday in a clash with militants in the North Caucasus republic of Chechnya, RIA Novosti reports.
The fighting took place in the Urus-Martan district, southwest of the capital Grozny, police said.
The Russian troops were on a reconnaissance operation when they encountered more than a dozen militants, reported United Press International.
At least six insurgents were also killed, reported Reuters.
