A series of attacks has left at least 12 dead in Baghdad and northern Iraq, reports Agence France-Presse.
A car bomb on Thursday in a popular Baghdad market killed eight people and wounded 30, police said.
Fifteen miles north of the capital, three car bombs killed two people and wounded 15 in Taji, CNN reported.
In yet another incident, gunmen in the northern city of Samarra killed two anti-Al-Qaida militiamen and wounded two more at a roadblock, security officials said.
