Suspected Boko Haram militants killed more than two dozen people in Chad over the weekend, reports Al Jazeera (Qatar).
Twenty-six people were killed in night attacks on two villages on Lake Chad, said Chadian officials. The reports have just emerged.
One attack took place in Merom village on Saturday. Armed men reportedly slit the throats of their victims and burned houses before leaving, killing 13 people, according to sources cited by Reuters.
