At least 29 people have been killed and 50 wounded in an attack on a prison in Afghanistan's eastern Nangarhar province, reports the Tolo News (Kabul).
On Sunday, a suicide bomber detonated a car bomb near the entrance gate of the prison in Jalalabad.
Following the blast, about 30 armed militants entered the facility and engaged security personnel, reported Reuters.
