Dauntless Destroyer Enters Service

The U.K. Ministry of Defense has announced the service entry of the second destroyer in the Daring class.

Commissioned in June, the Dauntless entered service on Wednesday.

The Dauntless recently completed an initial firing trial of the Sea Viper air defense system in the Hebrides.

The destroyer is scheduled to complete further trials and training ahead of her initial operational deployment next year, said the MoD.
