DARPA Orders Blackjack Satellite Buses

The Defense Advanced Projects Agency has awarded Telesat U.S. Services a contract to produce a pair of satellite buses for its Blackjack program, reports the firm.

Telesat will produce two satellite buses at a cost of $18.3 million under the contract announced on Oct. 14. The deal also includes options to produce up to 20 total buses for a maximum value of $176.5 million.
