The Pentagon's research branch has awarded Lockheed Martin two contracts for the demonstration phase of its long-range anti-ship missile (LRASM) program, reports the defense firm.
The Defense Advanced Research Project Agency (DARPA) project aims to develop and demonstrate two variants of the LRASM -- LRASM-A, a stealthy air-launched version, and LRASM-B, a high-speed, ship-launched variant.
