DAPA Approves Production For New SPAAG

The South Korean military acquisition authority has awarded Hanwha Defense a contract for production of a new wheeled self-propelled anti-aircraft gun (SPAAG), reports the Yonhap news agency (Seoul).
On Saturday, the Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) announced that it had finalized a US$200 million contract with Hanwha Defense for the 30-mm anti-aircraft gun wheeled vehicle system (AAGW), which is mounted on a K808 8 x 8 chassis.
