Danish F-16s Won't Be Sent To Afghanistan

Citing a tight budget, the Danish government has denied a request from NATO to send F-16 fighters to Afghanistan, Agence France-Presse reports.
"We are one of the countries that contributes the most to Afghanistan," explained Foreign Minister Lene Espersen over the decision. She noted that similar requests were made of other NATO countries.
