Danes To Assist In Building Of Peacekeeping Base

The Rwandan military has signed an agreement with the Danish government for the construction of a new facility to train Rwandan peacekeepers, reports the New Times (Kigali).
The memorandum of understanding is under the framework of the Eastern Africa Standby Force (EASF), a regional rapid-response effort.
Denmark will provide up to US$27 million to construct new training facilities for Rwandan peacekeeping personnel, said Danish Maj. Gen. Kurt Mosgaard.
