Fresh attacks have been made by the Boko Haram Islamist sect in the city of Damaturu in northern Nigeria, reports the Daily Trust (Nigeria).
There were more than a dozen bomb attacks in the Yobe state capital on Monday evening. Gunfire was reported for hours, said witnesses.
Nigeria's Joint Task Force (JTF) engaged at least 100 Boko Haram fighters overnight, said residents.
The latest violence was reportedly set off by the death of a Boko Haram member earlier in the day...
