Cyber Command Takes On Job Started By Task Force

The Pentagon deactivated the Joint Task Force Global Network Operations (JTF-GNO) command this week, and then turned that mission over to the U.S. Cyber Command at Fort Meade, Md., reports the Dept. of Defense.

The task force began in 1998 as the JTF Computer Network Defense under the U.S. Space Command.
