Cyber Command Goes After Disks, Other Removable Media

In the aftermath of the WikiLeaks release of Pentagon and other documents, the U.S. Cyber Command has taken steps to secure military networks from potential external threats, reports the Stars and Stripes.

A special tasking order has ordered troops against using all removable media, such as thumb drives and disks, on the military's secret network, dubbed SIPRNET.
