The U.S. Navy cruiser Chosin (Ticonderoga class) will undergo mid-life upgrades at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard next year, the Navy Times reports.
This would be the first time that such cruiser modifications are performed in Hawaii. The Bunker Hill cruiser was modernized in San Diego.
Norfolk, Va., is also commonly used for Navy vessel maintenance.
