A top criminal gang in Brazil is trying to recruit members of the FARC guerrilla group in Colombia, reports the Wall Street Journal, citing officials from both countries.
In 2016, the FARC signed a peace deal with the Colombian government, ending decades of fighting. A disarmament process is supposed to be completed by mid-2017. About 5 percent of FARC members may refuse to disarm, according to Colombian officials.
