Crackdown Doesn't Let Up, Say Activists

Anti-government protesters say Syrian troops are continuing their attacks even after promises of reforms made by President Bashar Assad, the Los Angeles Times reports.

Clashes between pro- and anti-Assad activists took place Tuesday in at least seven cities, including Hama, Homs and Latakia, said activists.

Three people were killed in Homs, said residents cited by Reuters.
