COVID-19 Restrictions Hurt Defense Exports

Turkish exports of defense and aerospace equipment fell by nearly 15 percent last year, reports Defense News.
A new report from the Turkish Exporter’s Assembly (TIM) indicates that Turkish defense exports reached US$2.3 billion in 2020, a 14.8 percent decrease from 2019.
The decrease was caused by production, supply and logistics disruptions due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, says the document.
