Iraqi counterterrorism forces fighting the Islamic State in Mosul say they have carried out their first nighttime raid, reports Reuters.
Troops from the Counter-Terrorism Service (CTS) bridged a tributary of the Euphrates River early Friday in eastern Mosul, pushing out ISIS fighters from the Muthanna district, said a spokesman.
