Counterterror Op In Ingushetia Takes Out 4 Gang Members

Russian authorities have killed four gunmen in a counterterrorism operation in the North Caucasus, says a law enforcement source cited by Tass (Russia).

The operation began early Wednesday in the village of Psedakh, in Ingushetia's northern Malgobeksky district, said the source.

The gunmen were surrounded in a house and killed when they resisted arrest, he said.

Those killed were believed to be leaders and memebrs of the Malgobek armed group.
