The Kyrgyz Defense Ministry is in the midst a two-week counter-terrorism command-post exercise, reports Interfax-AVN (Russia).
The training drill, which began Jan. 25, is aimed at improving officers' skills in preparing counter-terrorist operations, controlling troops during such operations, organizing and conducting support missions and improving interoperability among various units.
