Russia has just opened a second training center for Afghan and Central Asian counter-drug agents outside of St. Petersburg, reports Interfax-AVN.
Viktor Ivanov, the head of Russia's Federal Drug Control Service, said: "It is one of our centers for personnel retraining. We are now enlarging its resources. In principle, we are ready to accept personnel from Afghanistan for training there."
Another center was previously launched in Moscow under an agreement with NATO.
