Cougar Helicopters Due For Additional Upgrades

The French procurement agency DGA has awarded a contract modification to modernize Cougar helicopters, reports defense-aerospace.com.
The 220 million euro (US$298 million) deal is an installment of a 2008 award to Eurocopter for the upgrading of all Cougar helicopters in military service.
This installment covers three army and one air force aircraft.
The modernization work involves avionics upgrades, improved self-protection systems and terminals as part of the new army...
