Corvette Liupanshui Enters Service On Hainan, To Join South Sea Fleet

The Chinese navy has commissioned another Type 056 corvette, reports China Military Online.
The Liupanshui was christened and commissioned in a March 31 ceremony in Sanya on Hainan Island.
The class, equipped with the latest indigenous weaponry, is optimized for air defense, anti-submarine and surface warfare.
The corvette has been assigned to the South Sea Fleet.
