A Russian Udaloy-class missile destroyer escorted a convoy of four civilian vessels through the pirate-infested Gulf of Aden on Friday, RIA Novosti reports.
This is the third convoy mission involving the Marshal Shaposhnikov since it arrived off the coast of Somalia on March 29, said Russian naval officials. A total of 27 ships were said to have been involved in the previous two convoys
