An Indian man has been freed after being jailed in Pakistan for 31 years on charges of espionage, reports the Press Trust of India.
Surjeet Singh, 69, was greeted by friends and family after crossing the Wagah border on Thursday. He was arrested in the 1980s for spying. The Pakistani army sentenced him to death in 1985, but that was commuted to life in prison four years later.
