The man seen as the driving force behind the 1993 Bombay (Mumbai) bombings that killed more than 250 has been executed, reports the New York Times.
Yakub Memon was hanged early Thursday at a prison in Nagpur in India's western state of Maharashtra, hours after India's Supreme Court rejected a final appeal, reported the BBC.
