Conventional F-35s Resume Testing, STOVL Variants Still Grounded

Lockheed Martin has resumed test flights of the conventional model F-35A Lightning II fighter, reports the Air Force Times.
The aircraft were grounded late last week due to software glitches involving fuel pumps, company officials said Tuesday.
The short-takeoff-and-vertical-landing (STOVL) F-35B variants, however, have not been cleared to return to the air.
