Contracts Awarded To Upgrade Saudi Fighters

The U.S. Air Force has awarded a pair of contracts to help bring Saudi Arabia's F-15S fighters to the F-15SA configuration, reports the Dept. of Defense.
Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, Orlando, Fla., has received a US$410 million contract for 95 Sniper advanced targeting pods and spares; 35 compact multi-band data links; 70 infrared search-and-track (IRST) systems; 75 IRST pylons; and associated data. Work is scheduled to be completed by Nov. 31, 2017.
