The Australian army has awarded Rockwell Collins a US$67.8 million deal as the prime contractor for the Digital Terminal Control Systems (DTCS) program, the company reports.
Based on Rockwell's FireStorm, the DTCS is a lightweight suite of hardware and software comprised of a tablet computer, laser range-finder, laser target-designator, real-time video downlink receiver and manpack radio, according to a company release.
