Construction Takes Shape At New Coast Guard HQ

The Coast Guard is building a new headquarters building in southeast Washington, D.C., reports the Federal Times.

The $435 million, 1.1 million-square-foot building, scheduled to be completed in 2013, is the first phase of a $3.4 billion project that will consolidate 14,000 Dept. of Homeland Security employees at the western campus of St. Elizabeth's Hospital.
