Congressmen Seek Presidential Support For More F-22s

About 200 Members of Congress signed a letter to President-elect Barack Obama urging him to fund the production of F-22 Raptors, the Air Force Times reports.
The lawmakers hope it will be one of the first items Obama sees when he enters the Oval Office, said a congressional aide.
The Air Force now has funding to build 183 F-22s, said the congressmen, but they said they "are convinced that this number is insufficient to meet potential threats."
