The U.S. Congress has delayed action on the $678.2 billion defense appropriations bill for fiscal year 2011, Defense News reports.
No action is expected to be taken on the $726 billion defense authorization act either.
At the beginning of the next fiscal year, a continuing resolution will likely fund the U.S. military at the same rate it received money in fiscal 2010.
Any action on the defense budget for FY2011, which begins next month, will take place after November...
