The Nigerian government has reportedly decided to open a special prison for high-level members of the Boko Haram Islamist sect, reports the Daily Trust (Abuja).
The prison is located in Lagos, which is removed from Boko Haram territory, said a security source involved in the project.
National Security Adviser Gen. Andrew Owoye Azazi reportedly ordered the creation of the detention center.
