Bulgaria's planned acquisition of eight fighter jets has been put on hold amid a legislative investigation, reports Reuters.
In June, Sofia said it would begin talks with Saab to purchase Gripen fighters jets to replace its aging MiG-29s. The potential deal was estimated to be worth US$920 million.
However, a parliamentary committee set up to investigate the bidding process found "disturbing facts," said lawmakers on Wednesday.
