Spanish police have arrested a top computer programmer for the Basque separatist group ETA in France, CNN reports, citing Spain's Interior Ministry.
Tuesday's arrest came a day after the group declared a permanent general and verifiable halt to violence.
The unnamed suspect has been accused of designing the computer codes that operatives used to communicate, the ministry said.
