Competitors Named For Armored Vehicle Replacement

The U.K.'s Ministry of Defense has invited two defense manufacturers to compete to replace the army's Snatch Land Rover armored vehicle, Defense News reports.
Force Protection Europe's Ocelot will compete against Supacat's SPV400 vehicle for the contract to supply an initial 200 light patrol vehicles.
At least one more batch of 200 vehicles will be ordered once deliveries are underway, said officials.
