Thailand's prime minister says security personnel in the volatile south are vulnerable to insurgent attacks because intelligence is being shared poorly, reports the Bangkok Post.
Poor communications are preventing troops from fighting effectively against militants, said Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva.
Security measures must be adjusted and additional steps taken to combat the violence, said Abhisit.
