Commanders Of U.S., Korean Armies Sign Agreement

The Eighth United States Army has formalized an accord with Third Republic of Korea Army, which is stationed along the demilitarized zone with North Korea, reports the Army News Service.

The agreement will enhance contingency and armistice combined operations capabilities and strengthen the alliance between the two armies, said Lt. Gen. John Johnson, the Army commander who signed the accord this week.
