Most new Israeli still show a preference for service with the Golani Infantry Brigade and other combat units, reports the Jerusalem Post.
About 73 percent of teenagers want to serve in combat units, with about half expressing interest in the infantry, according to the latest army figures released on Sunday.
The Golani and Givati infantry brigades remain the most popular units for conscripts, army officials said.
