The Israeli navy has decided to utilize unmanned vessels within months for Mediterranean patrol missions, the Jerusalem Post reports.
The unmanned surface vehicles will be operated by remote control from a land-based station and are highly maneuverable, said navy officials. They are designed to conduct a wide range of missions, including coastal patrols.
