The Bangladeshi coast guard has made a deal for four former Italian navy corvettes with Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri.
The deal covers four Minerva-class ships that will be upgraded and converted into offshore patrol vessels, said a Fincantieri release last week.
Fincantieri will also provide related logistics support services.
