The Canadian coast guard is in extremely poor shape after years of neglect, according to an independent report cited by CBC News.
The study was commissioned by the agency. A heavily redacted copy of the report was obtained by CBC News under freedom of information laws.
"A significant amount of the fleet is fully depreciated," says the undated report.
