The Philippine coast guard says one of its vessels drove off a Chinese warship operating in the Philippine exclusive economic zone (EEZ), reports the Philippine Daily Inquirer.
On July 13, the coast guard multirole response ship Cabra encountered the Chinese People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) warship, hull number 189, operating off the Marie Louise Bank, around 170 miles (270 km) from the coast of the western Palawan province, the coast guard said on Monday.
