Coast Guard Capabilities Enhanced With Donated U.S. Gear

The Belize coast guard has received a variety of equipment from the United States, reports 7News Belize.
The gear donated during a ceremony last week included protective equipment, including bullet-proof vests and helmets, night-vision goggles and binoculars.
The equipment is expected to enhance the service's professional capability; improve protection for tactical units; and increase reconnaissance and night operation capabilities, said coast guard officials.
