Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Michael Gilday says he wants to increase deployments of the troubled Littoral Combat Ships (LCS), reports Defense News.
There have been five deployments of the ships in the class since August, when he assumed the top Navy post, the CNO told the newspaper in an interview last month.
Gilday said that he wants to increase that by 2.5 times over the coming years.
