Closer Military Ties Promised With Laos

Senior Chinese and Laotian military officials have agreed to enhance their ties, reports Xinhua, China's state news agency.

Laotian Defense Minister Sengnuan Saiyalath met on Wednesday in Beijing with Xu Qiliang, the vice chairman of the Central Military Commission, and Chinese Defense Minister Chang Wanquan.

Xu urged the two nations to step up all-round cooperation.
