CIS Officials Meet In Dushanbe; Anti-Terrorism Drills Directed At Terrorists In Mountains

The top anti-terrorism officials from the member countries of the Moscow-led Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) have been meeting in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, reports Interfax-AVN (Russia).
The May 31-June 1 talks are part of the regular CIS program promoting cooperation in combating terrorism and violent extremism, according to Tajik state media.
The CIS event coincides with the final stage of a joint Russian-Tajik anti-terrorism exercise.
