The U.S. Central Intelligence Agency is opening a new center dedicated to combating weapons of mass destruction (WMD).
The agency indicated that the Counterproliferation Center (CPC) will combine operational and analytical specialists to improve collaboration and information sharing and combat the spread of weapons of mass destruction and related technology.
