Chopper Crash Kills 7 Troops On Anti-Drug Mission

All aboard a Venezuelan military helicopter have been killed in a crash during counternarcotics operations near the border with Colombia, reports EFE (Spain).

Seven soldiers died when the Super Puma helicopter went down early Thursday morning near Chaparralito in Apure state, according to the Venezuelan army.

An investigation into the incident has been launched, officials said Friday.
