A South Korean navy destroyer has completed a multilateral counter-piracy exercise in the Gulf of Aden, reports the Yonhap news agency (Seoul).
The destroyer Choe Young took part in Thursday's exercise along with the U.S. dock landing ship USS Carter Hall; Japanese destroyer Teruzuki; and British frigate Monmouth, according to the South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff.
The South Korean ship was already patrolling the Horn of Africa with an E.U. task force.
